Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: BUILDING SKIN RESTORATION AND FONDATIONS CONSOLIDATION - MAILLOU HOUSE, QUEBEC CITY, QC IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS Government of Canada moved its Government Electronic Tendering Service from MERX to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Since June 1st 2013, Canada makes available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties. In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information. Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part nor for notification services offered by a third party. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The scope of work of this project work included the building skin restoration and the fondations consolidation of the Maillou House locatec at 37 chemin St-Louis, Quebec City, QC. Work of this contract includes, without limitation: 1 Excavation, waterproofing of the foundation and drainage. 2 Masonry restoration with roughly hewed fieldstone in different walls of the structure. 3 Restoration of dimension stones in the jambs and strings (or belt-courses). 4 Application of new cement-based coating on stonework. 5 Restoration of wood sidings. 6 Repair and restoration of openings. 7 Various upgrade work on ornamental elements. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT An optional site visit will take place on September 15, 2015 MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid; MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD CODE OF CONDUCT CERTIFICATIONS - CONSENT T0 A CRIMINAL RECORD VERIFICATION: Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to comply will render the bid non-responsive. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time period provided will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. PERIOD OF WORK Work on the east wall and the backyard wall shall be completed by March 31, 2016. Work on the west wall and the north wall shall be completed by June 2, 2016.
