    TITLE
    
    Repair of counterscarp wall of west ravelin, Citadelle of Québec city
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    
    The work to be done as indicated in the current contract consists primarily, but is not limited to: the repair of the counterscarp of the west ravelin, located in the Québec Citadel. This project is part of the Quebec fortifications masonry reparation program.  
    
    WORK DESCRIPTION
    
    These restoration and conservation works pertaining to heritage elements include, but is not limited to, the dismantling and rebuilding of the rear retaining wall, the excavation and the complete reconstruction of the headwalls, the repair of certain damaged, but recoverable, exposed stones, the provision of new stones, the complete rebuilding of the masonry core, the rebuilding of the buttresses, repointing certain wall sections, the installation of a new drainage system and the reparation of an existing drainage system, the rebuilding of the glacis, as well as all other related works pertaining to the rehabilitation of the counterscarp of the west ravelin.
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
    
    The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid.
    
    SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a site visit on Tuesday May 14, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Interested bidders are to meet inside the Citadel of Québec city at the following address:

    Bidders are requested te send the list of participants of the site visit by email at jennifer.kirouac@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than Monday May 13, 2019, at 2:00 pm.
    
    PERIOD OF WORK
    
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by November 27, 2020, at the latest.
