Nature of Requirements: 

Objective: The National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Saguenay site, wishes to acquire one (1) induction heating system with a power of 50 kW INCLUDING the coil, the water cooling system and the pyrometer for reading the temperature.  This system will be used for heating aluminum sheeting for forming parts for the automotive sector.


Deliverables:
  1. One (1) complete induction heating system in accordance with the minimum performance characteristics of equipment listed in Annex B of the Request For Proposal document; 
  2. Commissioning and training, on-site, at NRC Saguenay site;
  3. A minimum of 2-year product warranty; and 
  4. Documentation on the system. 


Trade Agreements: The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
