Medium Range Radar (MRR)


The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for a
Military-off-the-Shelf (MOTS) Medium Range Radar (MRR) system
and associated in-service support.

The MRR system must be capable of conducting air surveillance
and detecting and locating indirect fire weapons, such as
artillery, mortars, and rockets, across the continuum of
operations.

This is the second Letter of Interest (LOI) to be issued related
to the MRR system requirement.  A further mandatory capability
of air surveillance has been added to the MRR system mandate
since the initial LOI issued in March 2008.

Changes to this LOI may occur at any time during the LOI
response period, and will be advertised on GETS.

Respondents are asked to submit their MRR information package to
the PWGSC Contracting Authority identified in Section 18 of the
LOI document, on or before July 31, 2012.








Delivery Date: 15/06/2012

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
