    This amendment has been issued to amend the closing date of the solicitation from February 2, 2018 to February 9, 2018.
    
    
    This Standing Offer cannot be used for requirements in locations which fall under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business, the Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal Business, and Comprehensive Land Claim Agreements.
    
    The Department of National Defence, henceforth called DND, 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Moose Jaw, SK, has the requirement of the manufacture and embroidery of flight suits for the Snowbirds Team at 431 Air Demonstration Squadron in accordance with the specifications detailed in Annex A, Requirement. 
    
    The annual level of effort is expected to be approximately 45 red suits and 40 blue suits with an initial order in the first year of approximately 50 red suits and 80 blue suits.
    
    Special Conditions
    
    a. Orders will be placed at the start of December and the start of August of each year. These orders need to be filled in 65 days from the point the contactor receives the order;
    
    b. Emergency orders would need to be filled within 30 days of the contractor receiving the order and would consist of minimum one suit to maximum four suits. These orders will only come during the Show Season, April to October;
    
    c. The contractor is responsible to ensure they have a local tailor sub-contracted to make all adjustments for  clothing;
    
    d. We will be sending measurements for the production of our suits based on the sizing chart in the manufacturing data.
    
    e. The contractor is responsible for repairs due to defects in workmanship; and
    
    f. Estimated quantities are provided for evaluation purposes only. Actual quantities may vary from these amounts.
    
    The standing offer will be in place for one (1) year, with an additional two (2) one (1) year option periods.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
