TITLE : Providing Ice to Parks Canada - Trent-Severn Waterway


IMPORTANT: This tender is part of Public Services and Procurement Canadas pilot to submit bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. SCOPE OF WORK

Parks Canada, Trent-Severn Waterway will be offering both cube and block ice for sale at 11 lock stations during the 2018 season. 

The Contractor must provide and deliver an ice merchandiser, on a rental basis, at each location and supply and deliver cube and block ice. 

This will be our third season offering ice for sale, based on our pilot last season we estimate that we will sell approximately 8,000 bags of ice during the 2018 season. 


PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to April 30, 2019, inclusive.
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one-year periods under the same conditions.


TRADE AGREEMENTS

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
