Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement

This requirement is for: Corporate Services Branch (CSB) -
Business Application and Solution Directorate (BASD) of
Environment Canada (EC).
 
This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement
Holders, TBIPS Supply Arrangement EN578-055605/F, who qualified
under Tier "1" (requirement valued above NAFTA), Toronto Region,
Work Stream 1 Application Services who qualified under the
categories of:

Description of the requirement:
This requirement is for the provision of seven (7) A.6
Programmer/Software Developer, level 2. The resources will be
used on an as-and-when-requested basis to provide support
services to Environment Canada (EC) - Meteorological Service of
Canada (MSC) initiative to improve EC weather warning
forecasting capabilities under the MSC Renewal Project - Weather
Modernization Project. The resources will be providing services
that includes upgrade operations of the Meteorological
Observational Monitoring Networks data acquisition system, as
well as scientific data management and processing systems.

The work will also include system design, configuration and
implementation, change management, training and communications.
Work also includes, but is not limited to, developing unit tests
to support the development of upgraded scientific software,
assisting with the development of regression testing on various
applications and components, configures software system
components and fixing system defects in software applications. 

One (1) contract may be awarded. 

Proposed period of contract:
The contract period will be from Date of Contract Award to March
31, 2016 with an irrevocable option to extend the contract
period for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
