IMPORTANT: This tender is part of Public Works and Government Services Canada’s initiative to submit bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) requires engineering services to assess the completed design of the remaining of the S-Band radar towers to be installed as part of the Canadian Weather Replacement Program (CWRRP). ECCC will use the Engineering Consultant to review and assess the site-specific design as presented by Contractor prior to planned construction. The designs, subject of the assessment, include a steel tower structures and tower foundations. The assessment will serve to advise the CWRRP Technical Authority on approval of the design for implementation in the renewed National Radar Network. Approximately up to 7 sites per year are to be serviced. 

This Task Authorization Contract will be for a period of 4 years from Date of Contract Award. There will be an option to extend the contract for one (1) additional one (1) year period.

It is intended to issue one contract as a result of this solicitation. 

There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
