Trade Agreement: CETA / WTO-AGP / NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Payload - Moored Buoy & AVOS Solicitation No. K3D33-170782/A Grozdanovski, Tase Telephone No. (905) 615-2081 E-mail: tase.grozdanovski@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca ECCC has a requirement to replace the Government of Canada’s (GoC) current data acquisition and communication systems (hereafter referred to as a payload) currently installed in the Marine Network Moored Buoy and Automatic Weather Observation Systems (AVOS) with a more current system. The Contractor must provide an integrated data acquisition and communication system for MSC’s National Marine Network Moored Weather Buoy and Automated Volunteer Observing Ship (AVOS) Networks. The new payload systems must be compatible (see Appendix 1 to Annex 'A' Technical Specifications) with MSC’s existing buoy hulls and AVOS networks and all ancillary sensors and components. The Contractor must also provide related engineering support and training on the new payload system for both Moored Buoys and AVOS. The Contract includes: a. Acquisition and installation of 2 payloads on existing Moored Buoys and 2 payloads for use on AVOS ships; b. Option to purchase additional payloads for the duration of the contract; c. Maintenance and support requirements: See Table 1 of 'Technical Engineering and Support Services' d. Specialized engineering services for depot and field support related to the new payload systems. See Table 1 'Technical Engineering and Support Services' e. On-site training of MSC staff on the new payload system. See Table 2 'Training and Documentation'. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
