    There are two (2) separate solicitation documents on MERX for
    this requirement: Solicitation
    E0276-130255/A aimed at the Human Health and Ecological Risk
    Assessment Consulting Services and E0276-130255/B under the
    Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business set-aside program.
    Offerors that are eligible under the Aboriginal set-aside may
    also choose as well to make an offer for the open requirement.
    In this case, they must submit two (2) separate offer packages
    for each applicable work package.
    
    The PWGSC Vancouver office provides procurement services to the
    public in English.
    
    Requirement:
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada
    (PWGSC)/Environmental Services, Pacific Region, has a
    requirement for Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment
    Consulting Services including the design and complete ecological
    and human health quantitative risk assessments, prepare sampling
    and analysis plans, conduct sampling and analysis, prepare
    site-specific recommendations or risk management objectives,
    design and complete risk management works, write or review
    guidance documents, tools, or guidelines (including field
    investigation and research to support guidelines or standard
    development), which may require researching new or changing
    industry standards, communicate ecological and/or human health
    risks to members of the public, First Nations, or other
    stakeholders as required, conduct supplementary investigations,
    and producing reports adhering to federal reporting requirements.
    
    Canada intends to issue one Task Authorization Contract for a
    total of $200,000. The period of the Task Authorization Contract
    will be three years from Contract award.
    
    The Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements of up to eleven Yukon
    First Nations may apply to this procurement, depending on where
    the services will be provided.
    
    This procurement is set aside under the federal government's
    Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business, as detailed in
    Annex 9.4 Requirements for the Set-aside Program for Aboriginal
    Business, of the Supply Manual.
    
    This procurement is set aside from the international trade
    agreements under the provision each has for set-asides for small
    and minority businesses.

    Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
    tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX service
    provider.  Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
    service provider.  Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
    (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
    their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
    tender calling authority of their intention to bid.  In all
    cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
    provided on the tender form the identification number(s) of the
    addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
    their bid.
