This requirement is for the procurement of scanners for the
digitization of textual private and government archival
documents for Library and Archives Canada (LAC). Initial
quantity to be purchased is 4 units with an option to buy a
further 20 units for the duration of 3 years. There is also an
irrevocable option to purchase extended warranty services for
the scanners for 2 one-year periods.

The 4 scanners must be delivered by March 30, 2015.

As per the Integrity Provisions under section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2003, bidders must provide a list of all owners
and/or Directors and other associated information as required.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
