    Supply all labour, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation required to repair and maintain gas and oil fired boilers (over 8700kW) and connected ancillary equipment for regular scheduled inspections andmaintenance as well as Emergency Requirements at various sites for the Department of National Defence (DND) Real Property Unit (Pacific) Section, CFB Esquimalt, Victoria BC Canada. 
    
    Sites of work include but are not limited to the Greater Victoria Area, Nanoose Bay/Winchelsea Island, and Massett, BC.
    
    The principal trade required to perform the work specified in this requirement is Boiler Contractors.
    
    The period of the contract is three (3) years from date of award with the irrevocableoption to extend the term of the contract by two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions.
    
    The Work to be performed under the Contract will be on an “as and when requested basis” under
    Task-Authorization (TA).
    
    The cumulative value for all Task Authorizations is estimated to CAD $140,000.00 including tax per year.
    
    All work must be carried out by aqualifiedContractor and qualified personnel in possession of the following mandatory trade certifications. Bidders must provideproof of the following certification and experience withtheir bid:
    
    At company Level:
    - Valid Class A Boiler License for alterations and repairs from the BritishColumbia Safety Authority (BCSA).
    
    At personnel Level:  
    - Steamfitter: Valid Steamfitter/Pipefitter Certificate from the Industry Training Authority (ITA);
    - Welder: Valid Pressure Welder Class A Certificate from the ITA; and
    - Gas Fitter: Valid Gas Fitter Class A Certificate from the BCSA.
    
    Repair services may be required outside of the normal working hours, including weekends and statutory Holidays.
    
    A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria and financial evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated total bid price will be recommended for award of a contract. Canada intends to issue only one (1) contract award.

    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the WorldTrade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on InternalTrade (AIT).
