RISO - Waste Stream Analysis

Requirement

For the provision of, "as and when requested", waste stream
analysis of samples of various waste products to determine their
hazardous properties in accordance with the solicitation
document, for use by the Department of National Defence (DND),
Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape Breton (FMFCB) at CFB Esquimalt,
Victoria BC, that includes the following test groups:

Soil/Sediment Samples
Water (Sanitary Sewer)
Waste Oil and Fuel
Hazardous Materials
Miscellaneous Tests (unspecified in Standing Offer)


This requirement is for the analysis of wastes only. In the
past, the FMFCB has had a Contractor come on-site to take
samples for all waste produced and send them off for analysis in
order to determine the disposal procedure. The Contractor will
not be required to provide on-site monitoring or sample
collection services.   The FMFCB personnel will collect and
submit all samples directly to the Contractor's laboratory in
appropriate containers and with the necessary preservatives as
required by analytical methods.  FMFCB will typically request
analyses of analyte groups (e.g. total metals or PAH compounds),
with analytical results to be provided for specific parameters
(e.g. naphthalene or hexavalent chromium) within each group.

The period of the standing offer is from date of issuance of
Standing Offer to 31 December 2015.

It is anticipated that up to three (3) Standing Offers with a
total aggregate estimated dollar value of $195,000.00, GST/HST
included, may result from this Request for Standing Offers.

Pursuant to section 01 of Standard Instructions 2006, a Consent
to a Criminal Record Verification form, must be submitted with
the offer, by Request for Standing Offers closing date, for each
individual who is currently on the Offeror's Board of Directors.
