    The Department of National Defence (DND), 17 Wing, Winnipeg, MB requires a contractor to
    provide all labour, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to
    provide maintenance of Springer Lake Survival camp on an “as and when requested basis”. Bidder must adhere to the Annual Schedule (to be provided) and have or have available to them all tools required to perform all duties listed below.
    
    The requirement includes services for camp preparation prior to DND arrival, first line maintenance, camp shut down (clean up) after DND departure, general labour, and Spring/Fall Clean-up.
    
    The Contract will be in effect for two (2) years, from June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2020, with The Department of National Defence reserving the right to exercise up to three (3) options periods of one (1) year each for a total of five years.

    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00 am (Winnipeg time)
    
    Directions and details of the meeting point will be provided to bidders when they confirm their attendance.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 1:00 pm (Winnipeg time) May 1, 2018 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders who do not confirm attendance and who do not provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend as required will not be allowed access to the site. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet. No alternative appointment will be given to bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative. Bidders who do not participate in the visit will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
