    Discrete Chemistry Analyzer 
    
    The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC),  Grain Research Laboratory
    (GRL)  has a requirement for the supply, installation, and
    training for one (1) Discrete Chemistry Analzyer, including
    personal computer and software for the assessment of various
    chemical and biochemical components associated with the quality
    of barley and malt.
    
    The discrete chemistry analyzer is an automated system for the
    spectrophotometric measurements with computer-controlled sample
    and reagent aspiration, dispensing, heating, mixing, and
    absorbance measurement.  The system must be capable of
    conducting multiple assays on one or more sample matrices.
    Assays to be conducted for barley and malt quality include
    standard measures of wort quality including free amino nitrogen
    and high molecular weight beta-glucan as well as activity of
    target enzymes such as alpha amylase.
    
    The CGC is responsible for providing quality assurance for
    Canadian malting barley.  The GRL research programs support
    grain quality assurance through testing, monitoring, research
    and development.  
    
    Bidders  must submit a  list of names , or other related
    information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard
    Instructions 2003 (2014-09-25).  
    
    The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
    and/or services. 
    
    All deliverables must be received on or before March 18, 2015.
