    The Department of National Defence (DND) requires the dry lease
    of two (2) aircraft, for use at 8 Wing
    Trenton in support of light transport and pilot proficiency
    missions. The period of the Contract is three (3)
    years from contract award (anticipated start date of 01 November
    2015, however, if agreed by all parties,
    an earlier start date may be negotiated) inclusive with Canada
    retaining an irrevocable option to extend
    the Contract for an additional two (2) consecutive one (1) year
    periods.
    
    There are security requirements associated with this requirement.
    
    The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
    and/or services.
    
    Bidders' Conference
    A bidders' conference will be held at 8 Wing CFB Trenton, Astra,
    Ontario on 08 April 2015.
    Attendees are to assemble at the Military Police Pass Control
    Office, Building 22, 74 Polaris, CFB
    Trenton no later than 9:15 AM. Visitor Passes will be issued and
    attendees will be escorted to the
    Wing Operations Conference Room. The conference will begin at
    09:30 AM in 8 Wing Operations
    Conference Room. The scope of the requirement outlined in the
    bid solicitation will be reviewed during
    the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended
    that bidders who intend to submit a
    bid attend or send a representative. Upon completion of the
    Bidders' Conference, attendees will be
    escorted back to the Military Policy Pass Control Office to turn
    in Visitor Passes and depart.
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
    Authority before the conference to confirm
    attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the
    Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s)
    who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no
    later than 01 April  2015, 2:00 p.m.
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
    from the bidders' conference will be included
    as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not
    attend will not be precluded from submitting
    a bid.
