This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W6570-16AT03/A dated 2016-10-17 with a closing of 2016-11-28). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for a Basic Welding Course. 
The apprentice-level welding course(s) for ACS will be delivered at the contractor’s site. 

The Statement of Work (Annex A) defines the  Basic Welding Course for the Department of National Defence (DND).

Training Requirements.  Trainees will be able to perform under supervision the following tasks upon completion of the contractor Basic Welding Course: a Basic Welding Course

a. Use an Angle Grinder
b. Perform Oxy-Acetylene Cutting of Ferrous Material; 
c. Perform Oxy-Acetylene Brazing; 
d. Perform Silver Soldering; 
e. Perform Plasma Arc Operations; 
f. Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding; 
g. Perform Ferrous Gas Metal Arc Welding;
h. Perform Non-Ferrous Gas Metal Arc Welding;
i. Perform Ferrous Gas Tungsten Arc Welding; and
j. Perform Non-Ferrous Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.

Period of the Contract:

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract for on e(1) with the option to extend the Contract
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions.
