Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) foresees a shortage of individuals for PG level procurement positions during the coming years. 

PSPC is considering using contractor to provide a range of ongoing recruitment services that would be complementary to existing staffing methods that will continue to be used in parallel. This is a pilot project.

Initially, it is anticipated that a contractor would be used for PG 04 Procurement Specialist level, but may also be considered for other PG levelpositions. The contractor would be used to assist with a range of recruitment services such as: 

a. Comprehensive Search;
b. Advertising/Marketing;
c. Screening, Assessment and Identification, and Short-listing of Candidates;
d. Prepare interview packages; and
e. Reference Checks.

This Request for Information (RFI) has been issued to determine the degree of Industry interest, Industry capabilities, order of magnitude pricing, as well as any other possible options that will meet PSPC business objectives. 

The contract could be for a period of one year, with the potential for additional years. This information may be revised following the RFI process.

A Request for Information (RFI) may be followed by one-on-one industry meeting sessions.If issued, a Request for Proposals (RFP) will be published on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) following this process.
