Trade Agreement: CETA / WTO-AGP / CPTPP / NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: Suppliers on permanent list or able to meet qualification requirements Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: The Quality Engineering Test Establishment (QETE) Applied Science section of the Department of National Defence (DND) requires five Senior Technicians and one Intermediate Technician. Stream 1 The analytical chemistry field requires the support of three Senior Technicians and one optional Senior Technician. The Work to be performed by the optional Senior Technician is on an "as and when requested" basis to cover unexpected work in surge conditions or unplanned sickness amongst the Contractor’s three Senior Technicians and/or DND personnel. Stream 2 The fuel and lubricant field requires the support of one Senior Technician and the QETE Fuel Lab requires the support of one Intermediate Technician. Up to two contracts may be awarded as a result of this bid solicitation, one contract for each stream. The contract period will be from date of Contract for a period of two years with the irrevocable option to extend the contract by three periods of one-year each. This bid solicitation is issued against the Supply Arrangement for Task Based Professional Services under the Task and Solutions Professional Services (TSPS) method of supply, Public Works and Government Services File No. E60ZT-16TSPS/D. For the Senior Technicians and Intermediate Technician resource category, this requirement is open only to the Technical Engineering and Maintenance Services Stream suppliers who are pre-qualified in the National Capital Region. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Opportunities (WTO-AGP). There are security requirements associated with this requirement. The resulting contract is not to be used for the deliveries within a Comprehensive Land Claims Settlement Area. This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
