Nature of Requirements: 

The Department of National Defence (DND) has an operational requirement for training in shooting and driving at an advanced tactical level to develop and maintain its unique skill sets. Canadian Armed Forces members are required to handle several different weapon platforms, operate a variety of vehicle types, and practice combat and protection drills at the highest possible standard. Due to DND's operational mandate, two (2) separate locations are identified in order to meet DND's operational and training requirements.

Up to two (2) Standing Offer may be issued as a result of this Request for Standing Offer; one (1) Standing Offer per location. The locations are as follow:

Location 1: The Contractor's facility must:

a. Be within a three (3) hour total flying time range from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (based on published commercial airline flying times) and no more than a 120.7 km (75 miles) drive from the airport; and

b. Be located within the Eastern Daylight Time zone.

This location (1) must be able to accommodate all requirements stated in Annex A - Statement of Work, except for the confined space training area, as per section 3.2.10 of the Statement of Work.

Location 2: The Contractor's facility must:

a. Be within a six (6) hour total flying time range from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (based on published commercial airline flying times) and no more than a 120.7 km (75 miles) drive from the airport; and

b. Be located within either the Eastern Daylight Time or Central Daylight Time zones.

This location (2) must be able to accommodate all requirements stated in Annex A - Statement of Work.

The period of the Standing Offer(s) will be for three (3) firm years from the date of the Standing Offer(s) issuance with the option to extend the period by two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
