Parks Canada has a requirement for the supply and delivery of Bedding Plants for the historical site, Cascade of Time Gardens in Banff National Park. The Cascade of Time Gardens were designed by the architect of the Administration Building, Harold C. Bekcett. The surrounding grounds and adjacent gardens – a unique and beautiful example of Canadian landscape design – represent a rare example coordinated with the design of a building by the same architect. The gardens proper are representative of the English Picturesque landscape style and include irregular pools, flagstone walkways, shrubs and tree groupings that blend with the surrounding forest. The flower planting, as the showcase of this historic site, is more typical of the English Gardenesque style and boasts a wide variety of floral species that compliment both the built structures and the stonework.
