The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for 15 Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or Military off-the-shelf (MOTS) Supplemental Oxygen System, with three additional units as emergency backup for a total of fifteen (15). The Supplemental Oxygen Search and Rescue Aircrew (SOSARA) system will provide CH149 Search and Rescue (SAR) aircrew with in-flight supplemental oxygen when required to operate at Cabin Altitudes above 8,000 feet (ft) up to 15,000 ft. In addition to providing the SOSARA system, the Contractor must also maintain SOSARA, hereinafter called “the system(s)” for a period of up to five years.
