    Description
Pacific Highway Port of Entry (POE) is the largest POE in western Canada and processes passenger vehicles, commercial buses and commercial trucks. The POE is a key gateway for the Pacific Northwest and connects to major commercial processing routes and key industry infrastructure including the marine Ports of Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport. As one of the busiest commercial POEs in Canada, the new construction would facilitate future economic growth for Canada’s export/import industries. The redeveloped and modernized POE is also key for sustaining the community needs in the future. The purpose of this Request For Information (RFI) is to: • gather information and interest in this planned project • provide awareness of this planned project to Indigenous communities, the local business community and industry • initiate an industry and community consultative process • invite suppliers to a Community and Industry Engagement event. This event will provide stakeholders the opportunity to meet and discuss partnering, sub-contracting, and skills development.
