Upcoming information about registering for Public Services and Procurement Canada’s new procurement tool

Registered suppliers with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) can expect to receive an email inviting them to register for PSPC’s new online procurement tool, through the CanadaBuys website. The subject line of the email is “PSPC's New Procurement Tool / Nouvel outil d’approvisionnement de SPAC.”

If you do not receive an email, you can create your free SAP Ariba account at any time. Visit our Getting started page for more information on how to register.

PSPC will also be hosting a free webinar about the new website in October 2020. Click on the date to sign up, based on your preferred language:

  • English session on October 19, 2020, 2pm ET
  • French session on October 7, 2020, 3pm ET

CanadaBuys offers a new suite of online procurement services that uses SAP Ariba, a web-based tool that allows businesses to view and bid on opportunities with the Government of Canada. As we transition to the new service, the Government of Canada is continuing to make all tender opportunities available on Buyandsell.gc.ca, Canada’s government electronic tendering service. What’s new is that some tender opportunities on Buyandsell.gc.ca will redirect to SAP Ariba, where businesses will be able to view tender opportunity details, as well as bid online.
