Getting started
Are you interested in doing business with the Government of Canada? Find out how you can get started.
Government procurement is online
CanadaBuys is a suite of procurement services launched by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). It significantly improves and streamlines how we do business, moving from paper-based to online processes. CanadaBuys includes a tendering service where you will find tender opportunities from both the Government of Canada and the broader Canadian public sector.
Getting prepared to sell to the government
PSPC uses SAP Ariba, a web-based tool that allows businesses to view and bid on tender opportunities. If you haven’t already, you will need to register your business for a free account.

- Read our step-by-step guide on how to create an SAP Ariba account
PSPC buys goods and services on behalf of other federal departments, designated agencies and Crown corporations. We do this through open, fair and transparent processes that ensure the best possible value for Canadians.
