Provide your feedback on an updated policy on official languages in contracting

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) welcomes your comments on an updated official languages policy for procurement. This policy advances PSPC’s commitment to a procurement process that reflects Canada’s bilingual identity.

The policy covers sourcing, translating and tendering with professionally sealed documents for real property requirements, taking into consideration the provincial and territorial regulations that govern the practices of architecture, engineering and geoscience.  The policy also defines:

  • contractual requirements in relation to services and communications to the public
  • official language rights of employees
  • enhanced roles and responsibilities of buyers and clients
  • international specifications and standards

Visit the Request for Information on CanadaBuys for more information on how to participate.

The deadline to submit your feedback is October 28, 2024.
