Join a webinar on the risks of forced labour in the electronics industry supply chains

Shared Services Canada (SSC) and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) are working to protect human rights in electronics supply chains. For this webinar, they have teamed up with Electronics Watch, a non-governmental organization that helps public buyers work to promote and protect the rights of workers, to share their expertise.

Electronics supply chains are complex and at high risk of exposure to forced labour and human rights abuses. Suppliers that join the webinar will learn about:

  • electronics industry supply chains
  • various risks of forced labour
  • mitigation and remediation strategies for businesses

In preparation for the webinar, participants are invited to email their questions regarding risks of forced labour and human rights violations, and mitigation and remediation strategies to SPAC.PAAchatsEthiques-APEthicalProcurement.PSPC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. These questions will be addressed by the Electronics Watch experts during the webinar.
