Public Services and Procurement Canada is hosting the Winnipeg Indigenous business information session. This session is in support of the Government of Canada’s efforts to meet and exceed the target of awarding 5% of the value of all federal contracts, including subcontracts, to Indigenous businesses.
The session will take place on February 16, 2023, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Central Time) at the Fort Garry Hotel located in downtown Winnipeg. The topics for this session will include:
- an overview of the 5% objective for Indigenous procurement
- information on upcoming federal procurement opportunities
- support services and programs to assist Indigenous businesses and organizations
- information on provincial and municipal procurement processes
