SeeSpine creates 3D Models of the Spine using your phone

SeeSpine is a software as a medical device for screening and tracking the progression of Spinal Health. Currently, SeeSpine is focused on the management of Scoliosis and other Spinal Deformities. SeeSpine comprises a point-of-care mobile application and an optional patient administration web portal for clinicians. The mobile application employs any smartphone's camera to recreate a scaled three-dimensional model of the torso (or any physical morphology) from a simple video. The video can be taken remotely, at home by anyone. SeeSpine's proprietary Software then quantifies the extra-spinal deformities (what we can see) and correlates them to the spinal curvature (what we can only see via X-Rays). The scans and subsequent curvature analysis can then be securely and remotely sent to the physician. SeeSpine's technology can be applied to tracking all Spinal Deformities and can also be used for quantifying muscular asymmetries and atrophy. Spinal Health is an increasingly important challenge for Astronauts in Space as microgravity frequently leads to significant back pain and other spinal health challenges.
