Rural Living Lab Hospital to improve rural healthcare in CA

The living lab Charlevoix and the research and innovation Chair in emergency medicine can contribute to the CSA’s Health Beyond Mission in the following ways : 1- Renowned research team led by Dr Fleet with ten years experience in national And international research and innovation in rural emergency medicine and trauma care. 2- Studies conducted in more than 300 Rural Emergency departments in Canada with more than 50 recent Publications 3- Collaborations with + 10 Canadian and international universities 4- Lead investigator ( Dr Fleet) is board member of the Association des médecins d’urgence du quebec and rural representative for the province of Quebec . 5- Expertise in mixed methodology: quantitative and qualitative in rural research 6- Training and expertise in design thinking 7- Founded the first living lab rural hospital (2019) 8-Living lab has high capacity building and is multidisciplinary : ex created first rural leadership and innovation training program for residents and medical students ( 50 graduates so far from 4 medical schools). 9-large community of participants ( more than 200 participants and partners since launch - in various activities) 10-has deployed numerous innovations at various stages 11- Living Lab has 2 university affiliated hospitals 12- Dr Fleet has taken part in several technological studies ( drones ) and has published in the field of AI and o other cutting edge technology in medicine.
