Remote Sensing analysis with optical and Radar images

One of our specific fields is analysing radar and optical images in order to generate new remote sensing solutions to the environmental problems like forest fires, flood, landslides, etc.. We are exploiting SNAP, ENVI , ERDAS, QGIS and Google Earth Engine for our analysis. In our current projects we do; * High level satellite image pre-processing to generate cloud and shadow masks on optical images, * Analyse RADARSAT-2, ALOS-2-PALSAR and Sentinel-1 radar images and their fusion with optical images in order to find their potential to estimate BIOMASS in Mangrove forests. * We also use hyperspectral images like PRISMA to find its potential to monitor forests and agricultural fields * Exploit TimeSAT and DATimes to do time series analysis of remote sensing data * InSAR technologies to do landslide risk maps We are also collaborating with the Remote Sensing Laboratory of Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon, Turkey. Apart from remote sensing we are studying wireless communication technologies. We are developing protocol stacks for enabling many IoT applications ranging from Smart Metering to Industrial Internet for enabling an efficient, sustainable and progressive society. Therefore, we hope that, having the power of Remote Sensing and Wireless Communication together, make us a good candidate to collaborate with you successfully.
