The Leq’á:mel Development Corporation (LDC) is wholly owned by Leq'á:mel First Nation. The primary goal is to foster the development and capitalization of economic growth for the Nation with increasing sustainable employment while ensuring sustainability of ecosystems and lands for future generations and abiding by the policies and laws governing activities on Leq’á:mel Lands and beyond. Our responsibilities include a large number and variety of internal and external operations. which include: Fuel and Propane sales (retail and bulk) Commercial Office space Manage Leases and tenant relations Manage Businesses, mobile home parks – Construction, operations and financial management Manage Buildings and Capital Infrastructure Aggregate, Forestry, Land development companies, Residential, Construction Design / Build White Label Internet Service provider, green tech, IoT service provider and reseller - including Composite Poles, Elec. Vehicle Chargers, Sensors, Security, Solar & Wind Power, Digital Signage and other tech solution. Opportunity and Construction Project Management. Engage partners as required to fulfill components of projects, financial management and reporting for projects on Leq’á:mel lands, projects off Leq’á:mel lands.
