Shellcast is a leading manufacturer of precision aluminum investment castings by the lost wax process and we are located in Montreal, Canada since 1971. We supply castings to the Military and Defense, Aerospace, Satellite and high-tech commercial industries. Shellcast QMS Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001 and AS 9100. Shellcast is registered under CPAT as well as the Canadian controlled goods program, which complies with the US State Department ITAR regulations. Shellcast is Nadcap accredited. All relevant casting processes are performed in-house. This includes a non-destructive test lab (NDT) for X-ray and Penetrant inspection, a destructive test lab, a chemical test lab with arc emission spectrometer, heat treatment facility, CAD systems and CMM equipment. Shellcast has pioneered and developed a system to produce RAPID PROTOTYPE castings to accommodate sample requirements without the need of a costly or time-consuming hard tooling for functional verifications of new designs. Shellcast also offers such services as fully machined and finished “turnkey” products.
