Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide dental laboratory services for Correctional Service of Canada (CSC)’s four (4) institutions situated in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Objectives: The Contractor must provide dental laboratory services to the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) for CSC offenders (referred to as clients in this statement of work) in federal institutions, on an as & when requested basis. The Contractor must provide dental laboratory services to CSC’s four (4) institutions, located in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Deliverables: The Contractor must work in close collaboration with Dentists in CSC institutions.
• The Contractor must manufacture full and partial dentures and bite planes after receipt of impression(s) and as per the dentists` directions.
• If CSC returns dentures that do not fit, as per impressions, the Contractor must adjust the dentures to ensure proper fit at no additional cost.
• If CSC returns dentures or bite planes for adjustments, as a result of improper initial manufacture, the Contractor must modify, and re-align them, at no additional cost.
• The Contractor must repair and reline dentures as per the dentists’ directions.
• The Contractor must return the products the Contractor provides, including those for which the Contractor had to perform normal repairs, to the requesting institution within five (5) working days. The Contractor must perform emergency repairs and return the repaired products to the requesting institution within forty-eight (48) hours.
• The Contractor must use acrylic in the products the Contractor provides unless the CSC project authority or designate requests otherwise. The Contractor must bioform Interpenetrating Polymer Network (I.P.N.) for teeth the contractor provides unless the CSC project authority or designate requests otherwise.
Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

Duration of Standing Offer and Time Frame for Delivery:
Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of the Standing Offer Award date to March 31st, 2025, with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods.
