REQUIREMENT

Parks Canada requires confined space rescue services for major maintenance work at the Saint-Ours dam for a period of four (4) to five (five) months from contract award date to November 30, 2024 with the option to extend the services for an additional two (2) years.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT / DELIVERY DATE

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to June 30, 2025 inclusive.

The work must be carried out between July 1 and November 30 of each year inclusive.

The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year period under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment.

Canada may exercise this option at any time by sending a written notice to the Contractor before the expiry date of the Contract. The option may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority, and will be evidenced for administrative purposes only, through a contract amendment.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
