This need affects all correctional institutions in the Quebec region, except for La Macaza Institution. CSC may issue one or more Standing Offer, as a result of this request for standing Offer.
Offerors may place an offer for one or more institutions, depending on their ability to serve the region where the institutions are located.
Offerors bidding for more than one institution must provide a sufficient number of resources to be able to meet all the requirements for all the institutions for which they are bidding.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business:
This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement:
This standing offer does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada is looking for a Contractor to provide, as and when needed, Refrigeration and A/C mechanic/Tinsmith metal sheet workers services and apprentice for the correctional institutions within the Quebec region.
Objectives: Provide Refrigeration and A/C mechanic/Tinsmith metal sheet workers services and apprentice for the correctional institution within the Quebec region.
Deliverables: The Contactor must provide, as and when needed, Refrigeration and A/C mechanic/Tinsmith metal sheet workers services and apprentice for the correctional institutions of the Quebec region.
This include, but is not limited to:
Execute maintenance, replacement, modification, inspection, repairs of existing components and installation of new components to mechanical refrigeration systems.
Install and repair the mechanical refrigeration units of ventilation, air treatment and air-conditioning systems.
Perform diagnostics and steps to find the cause of a failure, etc.
Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.
Duration of the Standing Offer:
Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of the award of the standing offer until June 30, 2026, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
