Title: Janitorial Services - SUMMERLAND Research and Development Centre
DESCRIPTION:
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Summerland Research and Development Centre at 4200 Highway 97, Summerland, BC requires a Contractor to provide Janitorial services.
This bid solicitation is to establish a service contract for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation.
The period of the contract will be for one (1) calendar year with the possibility to extend the Contract for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. The anticipated start date is November 1, 2023.
Security Requirements
There are security requirements associated with this requirement. The contractor/offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by AAFC.
Mandatory Site Visit Information
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 10:00 am PDT.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Site Authority to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

Mandatory Technical Requirements
Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation including the technical and financial evaluation criteria.
Basis of selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
SOLICITATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO AAFC AT:
Bids shall be submitted using the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit bids electronically. Bids must be submitted only to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated in the bid solicitation.

Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
