    Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service of Canada is looking for a general contractor for a project including the supply, labour, equipment and materials in order to perform the work as described in the specification.

    Objectives: The purpose of this project is to replace the roof shingles on building 2 of the Archambault Minimum institution on St-Anne-Des-Plaines complex.

    Deliverables: Replace the roof shingles on building 2.

    There will be a mandatory site visit. (See detail bid solicitation document)

    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Correctionnel service Canada, Archambault Minimum Institution, main entrance: 244, Boul. Gibson, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines (Québec) J5N 1V8, on June 6, 2023. The site visit will begin at 10:00.

    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority karine.clement@csc-scc.gc.ca no later than June 2, 2023, at 10:00 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit, do not send a representative, or do not sign the attendance sheet will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

    Details about the site visit are contained in the bid solicitation document.

    Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
