REISSUE OF BID SOLICITATION
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 5P468-24-0220/A dated May 16, 2025, with a closing of June 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM MST/MDT. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.
REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada requires a contractor to complete repairs to a pedestrian trail bridge at ~km 4.7 on Sundance Canyon Loop Trial in Banff National Park, AB. Scope of work includes but is not limited to: bridge jacking and shoring, concrete abutment replacement & bearing replacement, timber repairs and guardrail repairs. The bridge is located on a hiking trail with no vehicle access and minimal laydown area. The nearest vehicle access via the existing trail is ~100m away at ~km 4.6, the contractor will have to utilize existing trails for access and laydown.
TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS
This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings.
