    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide a cable or satellite television network rental service for all the cells and common rooms in the La Macaza Institution. The Contractor shall provide equipment, installation, programming, and maintenance of the television system to allow access to the basic and specialty channels.

    The inmates (Inmate Committee) pay for all costs associated with this market. This contract is at no cost to the Correctional Service Canada.

    Objectives: To provide a cable or satellite television service to all cells and common rooms at the La Macaza Institution.

    Deliverables: The television signals shall be distributed according to the number of outlets per sector identified in the Statement of Work with stereo sound.

    There will be an optional site visit.

    Optional site visit:

    It is recommended that the bidder or a representative of the bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit, to be held at 321, chemin de l’Aéroport, La Macaza, Quebec, J0T 1R0., on February 18, 2025. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m. EST.

    Bidders must contact the Contracting Authority eloise.clement@csc-scc.gc.ca no later than February 7, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. (EST), to confirm attendance. They must submit the document Annex D "APPLICATION FOR ACCESS TO A FEDERAL INSTITUTION" in the confirmation of attendance email. Bidders may be asked to sign an attendance sheet at the institution. No further appointments will be granted to bidders who do not participate in the visit or who do not send a representative. Bidders who do not participate in the visit will still be able to submit a bid. Any clarifications or changes made to the bid solicitation as a result of the site visit will be included in the bid solicitation, in the form of an amendment.

    Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

    Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of May 21st, 2025 to May 20th,2026 with the option to renew for 3 additional one-year periods.
