    DESCRIPTION:
    Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Scott Research Farm at 7 Street, Highway 374, Scott, SK requires a Contractor to provide Janitorial services.

    This bid solicitation is to establish a service contract for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation.

    The period of the contract will be for one (1) calendar year with the possibility to extend the Contract for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. The anticipated start date is November 1, 2024.

    Security Requirements
    There are security requirements associated with this requirement. The contractor/offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by AAFC.

    Mandatory Site Visit Information
    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. local time (CST).

    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Site Authority to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

    Mandatory Technical Requirements
    Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation including the “mandatory” and “financial” evaluation criteria.

    Basis of selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

    Bids shall be submitted using the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit bids electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions of the bid solicitation, for further information. Refer to the attached solicitation documents to obtain further information.

    Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement.
