    Description: This Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) is for for the supply of all necessary materials, labour, tools, supervision, and equipment for two types of Vacuum Truck services at the RCMP Depot Training Academy in Regina, Saskatchewan. Services are to be provided on an “as required” basis.

    Types of Vacuum Truck services required:

    (a) Hydro Vacuum Truck Services. The Hydro Vacuum truck is outfitted with the high pressure
    water spraying system that is used to spray the ground, breakup soil and suction water and
    debris to uncover underground utility pipes and cables. For example, potholing (revealing underground utilities as mentioned already), digging thin trenches to lay cable or wire, and hole excavation (for postholes, landscaping) e.t.c.

    (b) Regular Vacuum Truck Services. The regular vacuum truck has no ability to spray water. It
    uses power to suction liquids and sludge from septic tanks, service pits and holding tank pump outs e.t.c, into the tank of the truck.

    It is anticipated that one firm will be issued a Standing Offer. The Standing Offer will be issued for a period of three (3) years with the option to extend the term of the Standing Offer for four (4) one (1) year option periods.

    Security Requirements: The contractor is required to have all personnel working on site to hold a valid Facility Access with Escort (FA2) issued by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The contractor SHALL NOT remove or make copies of any DESIGNATED or CLASSIFIED information or assets from the identified work site.

    Basis of Selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
