Services for Hydraulic Components on Bell type Helicopters: repair, overhaul, exchange (civilian)

Requirement:
Transport Canada's Aircraft Service Directorate (ASD) is an Air Operator and Aircraft Maintenance Organization.

ASD has a requirement for the hydraulic component Repair and Overhaul services (i.e. the “Work”) by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an OEM authorized repair facility for the following engine series:
Bell: 429, 412, 407, 206, 212

Services must cater to components installed on the aforementioned, including:
a) Repair;
b) Overhaul;
c) Modification;
d) Advanced Exchange;
e) Testing; and
f) Recertification.

The Work or a portion of the Work to be performed under the subsequent Contract will be on an "as and when requested basis" using a Task Authorization (TA). The Work described in the TA must be in accordance with the scope of the subsequent Contract.

Substantial Information:
The recipient Contractor has demonstrated their compliance by providing substantial information describing completely and in detail how the requirement is met or addressed.

Basis of Selection:
The recipient Contractor has demonstrated that they are:
A. an approved Repair and overhaul Facility for Bell Textron, for the Bell type helicopters operated by Transport Canada; and
B. a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Approved Repair Station for components installed on Bell type helicopters operated by Transport Canada.
