Environment and Climate Change Canada has a requirement for ongoing Power House Maintenance in Eureka, Nunavut (NU) as detailed in the Statement of Work, Annex “A” to the bid solicitation. The period of the contract is from date of award for two (2) years plus two (2) additional one-year option periods.
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 5000056450 with a closing of 2022-06-14 at 2:00 PM AND bid solicitation 5000056450-01 with a closing of 2022-10-27 at 2:00 P.M.
As this requirement has been solicited twice before (in calendar year 2022), receiving two bids during each solicitation from the same Bidders, whereby both Bidders were declared non-responsive each time, ECCC has decided to solicit directly to the two Bidders via email. To help facilitate responsive bids, ECCC has removed the Point-Rated Technical Criteria from Part 4 - Evaluation Procedures and Basis of Selection of the solicitation.

There is a security requirement associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security and Other Requirements, and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses. Bidders must provide a list of names, or other related information as needed, pursuant to section 01 Integrity Provisions of Standard Instructions 2003.
For services requirements, bidders in receipt of a pension or a lump sum payment must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.4 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation.

This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement(s) (CLCAs): Agreement Between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada (the Nunavut Agreement).
This procurement is subject to the Directive on Government Contracts, Including Real Property Leases, in the Nunavut Settlement Area (the Nunavut Directive).
