    Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) intends to award a contract to a supplier for the provision of a charter vessel and qualified skipper to support field operations on the Stikine River in British Columbia. These services are required to facilitate the Department's ongoing scientific monitoring and data collection efforts related to salmon stocks and habitat assessment in the region.

    The vessel must be suitable for safe navigation on the Stikine River and capable of transporting DFO personnel and equipment to various sampling sites along the river. The skipper must possess extensive knowledge of the area and experience operating in similar river conditions.

    The services are expected to be delivered over several trips between June and September 2025, depending on river conditions and operational needs.
