    This project involves but not limited to:

    Interior Renovation of two Government of Canada Buildings in Two Hills, Alberta. The project involves: o kitchen lifecycle, including flooring, countertops and cabinets; replacing flooring and painting throughout main floor; replacing ceiling lights; and replacing foiling windows. The project also involves the replacement of the cracked and uneven front walkway and steps, parking pad installation, and re-grading of the property. Building 1 Interior - Floors: Remove approximately 94.5 square meters of flooring and replace with new flooring. New flooring will be a mix of vinyl plank (approx. 84 square meters) and ceramic tile (approx.10.5 square meters). Windows: Remove 10 windows and install new frames, casings, and windows. Lights: Remove and replace 13 ceiling mounted lights. Doors: Remove, replace, and paint 5 interior doors and 7 closet doors including frames, trim, and baseboards. Painting: Prepare and paint all interior walls of main floor and stairs leading to basement. Kitchen: Remove existing cabinetry, counter tops, sink, and backsplash. Install new cabinetry with 30" wide shelves and 20" deep drawers. Install new countertop, backsplash, sink and faucet set. Building 2 Exterior - Walkway and Steps: Remove and replace existing walkway and slab. Remove and replace concrete step (minimum raise of 4'; maximin raise of 7"), reinforced with 10mm rebar. Parking Pad: Install new 24' x 30' x 6" concrete parking pad. Grading: Correct grade to direct water away from the house.

    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by 31 October 2023.

    This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
