This document covers the work related to the design, fabrication and installation of an automated fiber placement robotic work cell for dry fiber, thermoset prepreg and thermoplastic applications. The new system is to be delivered at the NRC facility located in 75 Boulevard De Mortagne, Boucherville, Quebec. The equipment will be used to support the development of applications using thermoplastic and thermosetting materials. The automated fiber placement cell will also allow users to develop and characterize various composite materials.
