RCMP Musical Ride - Fortified Horse Feed BACKGROUND The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) stable, situated on the site of the Canadian Police College, 1 Sandridge Rd, Ottawa, ON, has been established since 1939. It houses the 96 horses of the RCMP Musical Ride Branch. REQUIREMENT The RCMP requires a contractor to supply 2 different types of quality fortified horse feed. The fortified feed is to be delivered to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Stables on an as and when requested basis. The contractor must deliver and unload the feed within (24) hours from receipt of the Order Request form. The contractor must use their own equipment for transporting and unloading the feed. The RCMP is seeking to acquire all or part of the following: Description: Quality Fortified Horse Feed #1 + Quality Fortified Horse Feed #2 Quantity: 50 metric tons/per year* * The quantity specified is only an approximation of the quantity required. The RCMP shall not be bound to accept delivery of the commodity in the maximum quantity specified, or any quantity, but shall have the right to accept only delivery in such quantity as is actually required.
