The Law Commission of Canada will produce six podcast episodes (Obiter), three in English and three in French, hosted by the Commission’s President. Each episode, approximately 30 minutes, will feature an anchor guest and selected clips from relevant individuals or organizations, exploring the diverse forms and contexts of law reform across Canada. Cascade Communications Inc. will provide end-to-end production including pre-production planning, hosting, recording, fine editing, sound design, and publication/distribution on the Commission’s website and major platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Deliverables also include six promotional audiograms and social media copy in both official languages, as well as full transcripts of each episode. All work will comply with the Official Languages Act, Treasury Board accessibility standards, and the Federal Identity Program. Intellectual property and hosting rights will transfer to the Commission upon completion.
