The Coast Guard, Marine Engineering Team has a requirement for supply and installation of Data Acquisition and Controls Package “DynPro2” to control and operate their DX-34 Taylor Flywheel Dynamometer. This procurement will be sourced through a Sole Source contractor- Power Test who owns the exclusive rights to the proprietary DynPro2 software and controls system. Only this DynPro2 software and controls system are compatible with Taylor Dynamometers due to proprietary valving, tolerancing, braking load and HP and Torque calculations. Since the acquisition of DX-34 dyno Power Test acquired Taylor as a company, they continue to support and service these Dynamometer. No IP will be generated as part of this contract.
